VetNet® has concluded a licensing agreement with the Royal Veterinary College for use of the registered trade mark VetNet® in conjunction with the Lifelong Learning Network.
The VetNet® brand will continue to be developed to complement the work of the Royal College.
The traffic on the VetNet® AIHA discussion forum does seem to indicate a growing detection rate for AIHA. Reviewing the statistics from the forum gives an indication of new diagnoses and the numbers certainly do seem to be on the rise.
Brenda Johnson, who monitors the site regularly, felt that there has been a growing awareness of the disease from practitioners and that this has led to earlier detection in many cases.
A new VetNet® web site is being planned for Europe and will be found at vetnet.eu. VetNet®’s Mary Robinson commented that the site would initially focus on Western Europe but plans were already in place to extend the coverage to the newer European Union countries.
