Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Words of comfort to those that have lost

To those that have recently lost loved pets.....

I listened to the words tonight of what i think is the most wonderful song, the words are trully amazing....it has eased the pain for me but only marginally. You might and might not find comfort in lyrics to songs but this to me has helped, i hope you read and find some kind of comfort your way in what is said.

Tomorrow i bring my little girl, DAISY back home with me, to rest in peace forever and ever.

God bless you all.

There's a hero if you look inside your heart
You don't have to be afraid of what you are.
There's an answer if you reach into your soul
and the sorrow that you know will melt away

And then a hero comes along
with the strength to carry on
and you cast your fears aside
and you know you can survive.

So, when you feel like hope is gone
look inside you and be strong
and you'll finally see the truth
that a hero lies in you.

It's a long road when you face the world alone;
No one reaches out a hand for you to hold.
You can find love if you search within your self
and the emptiness you felt will disappear.

And then a hero comes along
with the strength to carry on
and you cast your fears aside
and you know you can survive.

So, when you feel like hope is gone
look inside you and be strong
and you'll finally see the truth
that a hero lies in you.

oh....Lord knows dreams are hard to follow,
But don't let anyone tear them away.
Just Hold on, there will be tomorrow,
In time you'll find the way

And then a hero comes along
with the strength to carry on
and you cast your fears aside
and you know you can survive.

So, when you feel like hope is gone
look inside you and be strong
and you'll finally see the truth
that a hero lies in you
that a hero lies in ... you
mmmm that a hero lies in.....you.

Claire,

Thank you for sharing that beautiful song, I think it will help us all find a little comfort in the difficult decisions we make for our babies each and every day. I hope that you and Jason are doing ok, and I will be thinking of you tomorrow when you lay your sweet Daisy to rest.

Hugs,
melissa and tiggs
