Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Where is Patrice?

I haven't checked this site in awhile, my thoughts are always with everyone though. I noticed that Patrice isn't posting anymore? Where is she? Does anyone know?

Well I see Patrice did post something about a medication just yesterday. I guess I should pay attention better. Sorry :)

Hi Brigitte,
We went way up into Ontario yesterday, past Guelph and Arthur, to visit the breeder for a puppy seminar. He is a great guy. There were about a dozen Giant puppies there, from two different litters. It was mayhem, plenty of rough and tumble play for 3 hours! Great fun! Willie is the biggest of the boys in his litter. It was a very long trip, we left around 8 am and didn't get home until after 8 pm. He is 11 weeks old. Great temperament, so cute and smart! The breeder helped me chose the one he felt would be the best for therapy work. He is amazing with people already.

I have been enormously busy at work. My new sound board finally arrived and was installed over about 3 weeks. Then there was a few weeks of training and last week I was "on the air" with it. It takes all my concentration and then in between shows I study all the "knobs" to figure out what they all do. Yes, my days are bit long....

Patrice,

It sounds like Willie has stolen and healed your heart! I am so happy for you and Mark. I don't think Willie has quite realized that he hit the jackpot. It sounds like you are perfect for each other. I have done therapy at senior and group homes with Kahlu and Ripley, it is so very rewarding. I don't think Enzo has the temperament for it. He is way to excitable, but maybe he will surprise me. So far he is doing awesome in Agility foundation work.

Best wishes and give that little canuck in your house a hug from
