| Hi all, I continue to think and pray for all of you daily. Some of you may remember me, I lost my husky mix Wolfie back in 07 to AIHA. Eighteen months later I lost her Golden sister Aiyana to the same disease, probably brought on by vaccines. August 1, 08, all three of my dogs had their vaccines, and all 3 reacted. My Siberian Husky seems to have lasting effects from his reaction, that have really messed with his system. His head swelled up like a basketball after the vaccines, he had stomach problems for a few weeks, and began having grande mal seizures. Since then we have had one issue after another, and are getting no help for him. He has zinc deficiency, auto immune can't put your finger on them disorders, intestinal problems (he used to be a great eater and have a cast iron stomach). Multiple Vets, bloodwork, etc... and he is still miserable. He stopped eating in July (even on phenobarbital), thankfully he has not lost weight yet, but that is just because I stand on my head to get something in him every day. I finally consulted with a holistic Vet, who believes all of Hurleys problems relate to the vaccines, and he is most probably suffering from mercury poisoning. Scary huh? I did some sleuthing yesterday at my Vets office, looking at Hurleys records. Hurley had vaccines in July of 07, a week later I called the Vet thinking he had a seizure - he was just a pup then. One year later he had multiple problems after the vaccines. My Vet and I had a long conversation... Hurley will never be vaccinated again - he will write a letter to the County stating so. I am shocked that he was actually in agreement with me... So for any of you frightened about vaccinating your other dogs... learn from my hard knocks - talk to your vet, they may be more understanding than you think. blessings, Julie |

| I am so sorry over the loss of your pups and the continued medical problems with Hurley. Who would ever think that something like vaccines, which we have all done to protect our pets, can be the mitigating factor in them becoming so sick and sometimes dying. I hope and pray Hurley will get better. Be strong, be brave. Your on top of this already. Good luck. |
