| I just wanted to let you all know that my sweet Abby died this summer. She started having seizures, we saw her going, had the boys say good bye, and drove to the pet emergency at midnight. As we pulled in to the parking lot, I felt her heart stop beating under my hands. They said she bled out into her abdomen and she was gone. We stayed and I held her and told her how she was such a good girl and we loved her. Thank you everyone for the support and information you gave over the time we were trying to keep her alive. I really miss her . |

| Rebekah, I am so sorry to hear that Abby has passed. I remember your posts from earlier this summer. There are so many complex conditions that can contribute to this disease and it is impossible sometimes to diagnose all of them. I know that you did the best you were able to do for Abby. She was with you, the person she loved the most, when she left this world and I am sure that in her doggy way this was the most important thing in her life. Please accept my deepest condolences. | Rebekah, I'm so very sorry to hear you lost Abby. There's been an unusually large number of furkids crossing over these past several months. I'd like to think of it as a special calling for these special babies...reason unknown. Abby is likely meeting lots of good friends at the bridge while she awaits the day she meets you again. Try to keep the heart strong (I know it's difficult) and keep the good memories of the times you had. We're here for you if you ever want to vent or just chat. My deepest sympathies and condolences for your loss. Johnny & Tessy |
