Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Want to send love to my penelope
| My Spaniel Penny died from AIHA complications on Feb 7,2005. She was a fighter for 7 months, before her body gave up and it was time for her to go. I know ill see her some day and im excited about that. She will always be my first baby. I think of her at least a few times a week. She had such a short life, barely 4 1/2 before she got sick. Im sending this out, as a message of love for my little girl. For everyone reading this, please take a quick second to send your wonderful thoughts. always missed, she is!! |

| David -- such a sweet note remembering your dear Penny girl. Thank you for sharing yours and Penny's story. Yes, she is happy and healthy again and I'm sure she's met some of our other dear dogs who have lost their fights against IMHA, such as my beagle, Wiley, who died in May 2005, and Joanne's Meisha, Penny's Salome, Patsy's Stormie, and Hunter, Buddy, Buddy, Alistair, Nel and many others. |

| David, I know how difficult this is and I don't have a day that I don't think about and miss my Salome but like you I know she is at the bridge playing and waiting until we meet again. We will hold them in our hearts until we can hold them in our arms again. The "other" Penny |

| Hi David, I too think of my Lady who died 10 years ago, I can't believe it's that long. I visit her on my web site as well as Tasha who died almost a year ago in February. I have the 'Rainbow Bridge" site and the "In Honor of" site, where a lot of people have sent me pictures of their dear ones and visit them there too. I don't remember if your Penny is the Penny that I have on Rainbow Bridge and in honor of. If not and you want to send me a picture please do.
