Louise. I am so saddened to read that you have lost your dear Toby. Sometimes we never know what caused our dogs to be stricken with this awful disease. I hope that in the coming days these awful times will be replaced with all the great memories you shared with your boy. The pain does ease but I don't think it ever really goes away. I know Toby is at the Rainbow Bridge playing with a lot of new friends where he will wait until you are together again Take care Penny

Dear Louise, I am so very sorry for the loss of your darling Toby. This disease certainly comes out of the blue, and we are never prepared for the devastating effects it can have on our dogs. Vaccinations certainly can be a trigger for IMHA. My dog Millie was diagnosed a year and a half ago, and we believe her annual vaccinations were the cause. I hope your pain eases soon, and you look back on your time with Toby and smile. Our thoughts are with you, Sam & Millie.

I am so sorry that Toby has gone to the Bridge. I too believe I lost my Stormie due to annual vaccinations. You did everything you could and Toby knows that. Please take care of yourself and know you are not alone. Ms. Gates

I always am very careful w/vaccinations. I am very wary of giving the all at once or close together. We always space them FAR apart. We are very sorry for your loss. This is indeed a terrible and swift disease. Jack Portsmouth, New Hampshire
