Hello Everyone I know it's been awhile since I've posted. I've spent the last 4 days with Harley in the hospital. Sunday evening he was not himself so I checked his gums. They were pale so I called his vet and rushed him in. They tested for AIHA & thyroid all came back negative. So they checked everything possible to find the cause of pale gums everything came back fine. The vet asked if I changed his food Nope didnt change food. I'm terrified now since they couldnt figure out what was causing it. My parents were back here at home looking in the backyard to see what he could have gotten ahold of something but found nothing. While in the hospital I was checking all over his body to see if he was cut somewhere I didnt find any cuts but I did find 2 tiny punctures by his private area so I hollared for the vet. Well after every test possible we found something. What would have caused it we are not sure but after plenty of rest we are now back home.. You talk about a total freak out my baby boy was sick and I didnt know why..I asked his vet how much the bill was and her response was "Maria, I'm not worried about the bill I'm just glad we found something and got Harley better" I know when I lost Katie JoJo she (vet) was crying right beside me..I did get a copy of everything that was done and this lady is so sweet and I will never take Harley to another vet the total bill was $4982.47 For my baby boy I will pay any amount of money for him...Harley is my life and I will do ANYTHING for him.... Everyone have a safe and wonderful Christmas Lotta Love, Licks & Nibbles from Harley

Maria & Harley~ So glad Harley is doing better. I'm sure I would have felt the same way emotionally, after loosing one pet to AIHA/IMHA! Merry Christmas and a Happier New Year! Blessings, Cindi & Tori

Maria, Wow! I am glad to hear that Harley is recovering from his mystery. Could it have been a snake bite? I would think that would have been more obvious? Whatever caused the problem I am glad Harley is o.k. Merry Christmas to you and your boy
