Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Vaccine Boosters and AIHA

I've been reading that vaccine boosters have been linked to AIHA. Could this be the reason so many dogs and cats are developing this horrible illness?

Karen,
There does seem to be a connection to "over-vaccinating" causing reactions but in a multi billion dollar industry it is not easy to get anyone who will admit it. Dr. Dodds is doing research right now called "the Rabies challenge" trying to prove and get laws changed so our dogs do not have to have so many boosters. I had to change Vets because I was always in a fight about vaccines and prescriptions he wanted to do that I did not. My dog Salome who I lost to this disease in June of 2006 had not had any shots except Rabies 10 months prior. I believe hers was brought on by a bee sting (she was an avid bee hunter) basically anything that excites the immune system can be a culprit. Whether it be flea/tick products/vaccines etc.

numerous pets on here have had there diagnosis co-incide with a vaccination or flea product that was recently given.
my dog will be free from all of that stuff for the rest of her life
