Sorry it's been a bit, we've just been taking care of Squirt. To answer a few questions, he was not on baby asprin (shouldhe have been?) Meclizine is Dammamine, he does quite well when on it(1/2 tab a day) but he appears blind or blurred vision n one side. His appetite is tremendous! His walking hjas been better, a little straighter but in the house it's mostly like 2 foot circles. So far the blood is better, but there's this right side weakness that seems to stay. My concern at this point is atrophy of his right side.

Ed, Sorry to hear Squirt is still having the weakness. Does your Vet think it might have been a stroke? Did you ever contact Dr. Dodds? She might be able to recommend something you can do to prevent any further muscle loss. Keep us posted. Penny

Has your vet mentioned vestibular disease ... can be different causes, including brain lesion, but also inner ear infection. Here is a little info if you are interested http://www.marvistavet.com/html/body_vestibular_disease.html http://www.lowchensaustralia.com/health/vestdisease.htm (there are several other links at the bottom of this page_ Some years ago, a friend of mine lived with her older samoyed for several years with a vestibular disorder. Because of, or in addition to the turning circles, he would get stuck in a corner. But after only a little bit of time, she figured out ways to manage her house and him so it was an infrequent occurence. Hope you find a resolution. Best to Squirt.
