| Another week, and another PCV count. Sofie is staying steady at 51%. We will do another count next week, then start weaning her Pred down even more to every other day. She is still on Famotidine for her stomach, but is receiving that once a day also when she gets her Pred in the mornings. Luckily, as a growing puppy her weight gain is normal for a GSD, she has gained 3 pounds since this started, which I am thrilled about because of the side effects of the Pred. She has been on this new food for two weeks, Blue Buffalo, and I have to say it is great. Her stools are small and formed. This food has no wheat, corn or soy, is made with vegetables, fruit, and lots of natural goodies. |
