| Just wanted to post a positive update on Lucy. Her PCV is up to 38 !!! this week - up from 31 two weeks ago. We are *so* happy she is recovering so well. We will keep her meds the same - 30 mg pred once a day and aza 50 mg every other day - until another full CBC is done in two weeks. She is eating anything we give her but hasn't really gained any weight - wish I could do that! She is staying right around 60 lbs. She is getting steadily better at home...more and more active every day. So, there is hope, which I had a hard time believing four short weeks ago, when her PCV was 14. We are thankful for this forum and the support we have received. We will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers and will update in a few weeks. |
