| Hi Everyone, It's now 21 months since Joey was diagnosed and it's been a very long and tiring journey.Joey's pcv is still being done every 3 months and is stable between 41-43%.His hayfever hasn't been so bad this year and has been managed on 3 mgs of Piriton daily. The bad news is that he is now 5kgs over the maximum weight a Border Collie should be (now 30kgs).Just as we'd got him walking 2 hours daily and beginning to lose the weight he put on whilst on steroids he jumped a small ditch and sprained a joint in his front right leg which resulted in him being restricted as to how much he could be walked.I can't believe how much weight he gained in such a short space of time compared to the slow progress he made losing it over so many months! We've just started hydrotherapy and I'm hoping this will burn off a few calories. All I can say to everyone is don't give up hope and thank you all who have replied to my threads .Love to you all. Corrie & Joey xx. |

| Corrie, sorry to hear Joey injured himself. I'm sure in no time he'll be back to normal. It's great to hear that his crit is stable at such a good number! Keep up the hard work and good job. Lots of thoughts and prayers, Johnny & Tessy |
