| I dont post very much but like all of you it so nice to share good news with people who know what you have been through. Charlie had his 2 week check up today after reducing his pred from 40mg to 20mg. His PCV level went from 37 to 43 I was so excited. i can definately tell a difference in his energy level too. The Dr. wants to keep him on the 20mg pred and the 50mg azathiaprine for the next 4 weeks and then check him again. They do get better!! Carol |

| Sue, Charlie has a very healthy appetite, he is hungry all the time. at our last visit 2 weeks ago he had gained 6 lbs in 2 weeks and the dr wanted me to not feed him just because he was hungry. I started feeding him on his normal schedule and treating him like a dog again and he is thriving. he is bouncing all over the place. I am looking forward to starting our walks again. I have been keeping him really close to home. He was diagnosed Jan 28 and I adopted him from the portland humane society on Jan 8. My vet thinks the rabies shot was the trigger. Thank you to everyone for their posts and prayers Carol |
