Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Update on 6 month old Sofie
| Wanted to give an update on Sofie, my 6 month old GSD who was diagnosed on Christmas Eve day. Her latest blood test yesterday showed about the same as last week, she only went up a bit on her HCT, which is now 38.8% and her WBC is 16,000 up a tiny bit from last week. She is acting entirely normal, playing, eating, very active and happy all the time. I was hoping she would be in the 40% by now to start reducing her pred a bit, but my vet wants to be certain of her levels before we drop her dosage. Everything looks great, and I am hoping for a good outcome. |

| Hi Joanne. Thanks for the update,38.8% is pretty good considering, hopefully it will continue to climb. From all I have read, this is a slow process. Thinking of you both. Tricia |
