Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Tori's PVC

Great News! Her PCV was at 40! We are able to reduce the Prednisone by another half pill (PM and now AM doses) for another 4 weeks. She has gained alittle, but not bad and we are able to walk a mile every other day. Her energy level is up...could be the cooler weather that is helping.

We are all pleased!

Continued prayers for the pets and also for those grieving the loss of their beloved furbabies...

Blessings,

Cindi,
Excellent! So good to hear this. You did this. Your hard work has paid off.

Take some time for yourself this weekend to do something that is special. I remember going to a concert of my favorite guitarist. I hadn't been out in nearly a year to anything and boy did I enjoy myself!

Cindi,
it is always so good to hear great news! Give yourself a pat on the back and my poodle boys send a sloppy kiss for Tori who is a real fighter:)
Best wishes,

Thanks, everyone. We still have a ways to go before she they will say she is in remission, but we are headed in the right direction!

Tori is also playing in some of her crazy fun games of "hide & seek" with my husband, the "alpha" of this household and both are enjoying the fun!

It will take a while for her muscles to build, but now that the Pred is being decreased, it won't be long until she is able to jump up on the bed with one try.

Hang in there, my friends...
