Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Tootsie Celebrating

Tootsie is celebrating her one year anniversary of her Evans Syndrome (IMHA and ITP both at the same time)diagnosis. She is still taking prednisone and imuran in small doses 2 times a week and will be for another six months. I did not think that Tootsie's beautiful poodle coat would ever return but it has. Thank you to all of you who helped get us through the last year, especially Joanne and the Meisha's Hope web site.

Congratulations Tootise!!!! I have a feeling her coat will grow in fine, it will just take some time.

We wish her continued good health:)

Barb,
Congratulations on Tootsie's success at fighting this condition! Having had a dog with a similar coat I can also remark at how wonderful it is when these coats return to their previous shine!
