Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - To all that recently shared photos...

Hello All,

I just wanted to thank each of you that posted links to share photos of your brave furkids fighting this horrific disease. They are all beautiful and you can just see the love in their eyes. Although I love to look at these pictures it makes AIHA that much more real( if that makes sense). You can hear of a person or an animal that is sick and feel for them but when you actually put a face to it-it makes it that much harder to grasp why such a pure innocent creature can be stricken with such a bad disease. So many new cases make me really sad but I just love hearing of those that are fighting the good fight. Thank you to each and every one of you for being such good "mommies" and "daddies" to these special pooches. We just took our Jacob and his bro on a camping trip and stayed in a log cabin. When I get those pictures developed I will add our link so you can see him as well. I have a digital camera but I was shooting so many pictures the memory became full and I did not want to delete any video that I had made so I had to travel to a local walmart and buy disposables so I could take some pics of my boys. Hope everyone has a great weekend. We are finally getting much needed rain here in Virginia. Seems like most states are having a drought problem right now.

I second everything that Teresa said. I have been meaning to get caught up on all the new posts and the pictures, but I have been glued to another board following the updates on the fires for information for some friends who have been evacuated. I am so sorry for the new dogs that have been added to the board but I am glad their parents found their way here.
