Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Tiggs- One Year Anniversary

Tiggs celebrated a new birthday today- he has reached his one year IMHA/AIHA anniversary.

Today he is doing very well. We are so proud of him. His positive attitude has never waivered, and he still loves everyone he meets, canine and human alike.

He celebrated his big day by putting on his new Meisha's Hope bandana, and eating a giant hamburger.

We love him so much, and our lives will never be the same but our bond is stronger than ever!

We want to thank every one of you who has been here in this fight with us for the never ending support and love you have shown us, as well as knowledge and courage.

Here is Tiggs today:

Congratulations Melissa and Tiggs!

Loved the photo - Tiggs is an inspiration for us all.

It is so good to hear that he is completely off the meds. If you remember Alex had a set back late April and I was devastated that he was put on all high doses of meds again. He is bouncing back alot quicker this time and the meds are being reduced. I keep hoping for the day that he will be off them entirely or just on them minimally. Your Tiggs is a handsome boy and looks very healthy! I am so happy and hugs to you both from Pa.

BIG TIME CONGRATULATIONS TIGGS !!!! You and Melissa deserve the very best. You look mighty handsome in your bandanna photo. Cooper is very proud to be sitting next to you, in the photo shoot, that made it through the 1st yesr of this miserable stuff. Coop is now 5 months into treatment and is working his way through the minefield of med reductions. So far so good we just hope that we can continue successfully follow in the paw prints of Tiggs. Happy Anniversary Big Guy !!!!
