Well, for many months, I've debated and debated as to whether I would ever bring Tiggs back to the the dog park that he enjoyed so much. He's on a very low does of Aza now, just 15 mg every other day. His vet feels his immune system is functioning again. So, with apprehension, I decided it was time to try. He had such an amazing time, he never stopped smiling, he ran, and ran, like a healthy, happy dog. He met so many new friends, and he showed his joy for life like I remember. I just got so choked up. I will of course be monitoring him for any potential setbacks, but I'm optimistic that he is doing well. Here is a pic from our adventure: http://www.flickr.com/photos/dzinelvrslc/3454312514/in/set-72157608058836745/ Thanks for reading, and thinking of all of you! melissa and tiggs

Melissa, This is wonderful! I am so happy for you and your handsome sweet boy. I think he's smiling, maybe laughing, in the picture. A day of frolicking and enjoying the sun must have been a healing experience for him. Keep up the good work, you precious doggie! Karen

That is one happy looking dog! Looks like he really enjoys the park. Did he get to socialize and play with the other dogs? I can't wait to be able to bring Tessy back out for her runs again. She used ot love them! Good to see Tiggs as happy as he is. Keep up your good work with him. Johnny @ Tessy

you have inspired me to take charlie out somewhere more fun than just on walks. Me, charlie and my other dog Jake went for a walk along the columbia river today and it was so much fun. I didnt let charlie go into the water, but i think he had a lot of fun. I know jake did. Carol
