Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - There's a lot of hope out there

I have not been on this forum in a couple of years. When my cockerpoo was diagnosed on August 24, 2003, I was on here daily like many of you looking for anything that could help my girl and help me understand what this AIHA is and how this could have happened to us. It was a horrible 9 months watching her go from practically dead to finally out of the danger levels. It has now been 5 years with no sign of relapse. She's a healthy, happy and strong dog, and very "Precious" which is her name. She was the November, 2004 success story which is on Joanne's site. You can link it here or cut and paste to browser

Hang in there and never give up hope for your beloved dogs. I hope anyone who participates in this forum helping others is also a Success Story.

Congrats Any & Precious. Sierra is also another 5+ year survivor. Not always an easy road (an understatement), but still here, on meds, and doing well. Sierra is April 2005 Success Story. Would love to see Sway as a Success Story.

Amy,
Congrats to you and Precious. I am very happy for you both. I think your post will help a lot of people who are still fighting.
