| I remember when my dog Kola was diagnosed with AIHA two years ago that this message board had the most helpful information I could find on a disease I knew nothing about. It was also scary and upsetting (and still is) at times to read about the losses. Kola is healthy today and off all meds, though I of course check his gums every day. With appropriate treatment, remission IS possible so have hope if you're dealing with this disease. My heart goes out to those of you who are worried and/or have lost your pets. |

| Congratulations Leslie and Kola! Wonderful news! My Millie is coming up to two years since diagnosis in January - its hard to believe she was ever so sick. IMHA is not all doom and gloom! Great news that Kola is med free and thriving. Wishing your boy continued good health, Sam and Millie. |
