| Hello everyone! I am pleased to report that Popeye appears to be totally back to his old self now. I feel fortunate that he is here with us today. At one point, just a few weeks back, he was so bad I almost put him to sleep. He is looking better than ever now. He is still on 5mg. Pred 2x daily and the Lixo vitamins. He goes back this Friday for check-up/ bloodwork. As happy as I am about this, I still cannot get rid of the fears in the back of my head, wondering if this remission is only temporary. ( I am trying not to think about that though.) I know these dogs can make dramatic turn arounds. Amazing! |
