Would you take paypal,as anyone who has e-mail address can get money via paypal, just makes it easier for us outside US rather than sending cheque,I actually don't use cheques anymore? I would love to donate though and receive this great bandanna. Kathleen and Nollaig
Kathleen North Ayrshire
Kathleeen, At this time I cannot take Paypal and Morris Animal Foundation does not accept Paypal either. I just visited with a couple of people from MAF and they suggested that perhaps you could send me a money order. They suggested if you do send a money order perhaps you could ask that the money order be done in U.S. dollars.

Just a note to mention that I will soon be starting to work on a Web page that will have photos on it of dogs who are wearing their Meisha's Hope Bandanna. So after you order and receive your Meisha's Hope Bandanna, take a photo of your dog wearing it and send it to me at: dicksonjoanne@hotmail.com and it will go up on the Meisha's Hope Bandanna photo page. Melissa, I have your photo from the link you posted so no need to send another.

Dear Joanne, I will also be sending you a dontation for bandana! I will send a money order in USD and Millie will be very proud to wear it! Samantha & Millie

Hi Joanne Is a money order the same as a postal order here in the UK as I would like to order a bandana - can you let me know where to send the order too and anything else I may need to know. Keep up the great work and look forward to seeing all the furbabies on your website. It'll be great to see the faces of all those lovely furbabies who we talk about but don't get to see. Kind regards Gill 'n' Phoebe xx PS would a personal cheque do?

Samantha, I look forward to receiving your request for a Meisha's Hope Bandanna. Thank you for saying you will send your money order in US Dollars. That will help a lot. Gil, I think that a UK postal order is the same thing as a money order. Ask when you go to get one. Also if your postal order could be made in US dollars, that would help, if not Morris Animal Foundation can take your postal/money order to their bank and get it converted to US dollars. And yes, a personal check would be acceptable. Everything you need to know about ordering the Meisha's Hope Bandanna can be found on this Web page: http://www.cloudnet.com/~jdickson/bandanna.htm Please also include a note with your full name and postal mailing address as well as the number of Bandannas you wish to receive for your donation to the Meisha's Hope AIHA/IMHA Fund #338 at Morris Animal Foundation. Currently I am trying to send the Bandannas out within 24 hours of receiving a request for them, except if I receive a request on Saturday, the Bandanna will not go out until Monday.

PS. To those of your requesting Bandannas from countries outside of the USA, please add USA to the end of my postal mailing address mentioned on the Bandanna page.

Hi Joanne, No, a money order isn't the same thing as a postal order in the UK. A money order has to be bought from a bank (at a cost of around £12) and is issued in almost any world currency that they buyer requests. A postal order is bought from a post office (for a few pennies) and is issued in GBP only. Are you sure that MAF can get a sterling cheque changed to dollars for a reasonable cost, because to do the reverse here in the UK would be prohibitively expensive for a small-value cheque.

Kit, Thank you for posting such great info about the difference between a UK postal order and a money order. When I visited with the accounting people at MAF we only talked about money orders and checks, not postal orders. They said that money orders were acceptable but that they would prefer that the money order be made out in US dollars, however if they were not in US dollars, the currency change could be made at their bank. MAF may be able to get the sterling cheque changed to dollars for a reasonable cost because of their long standing association with their bank and the fact that they are a nonprofit organization which may give them reduced fees. Bottom line, when I asked about how to deal with the differences in currency from countries like the UK and others they said that it could be handled successfully. I did talk to the gal who actually goes to the bank to have these transactions done.

Joanne, I know this might be a bit risky, but I am a trusting person.... I still have some cash from our trip, so I will send that. Nobody will refuse cash in the US and I just hope it will go into the right pocket. Thanks for doing all you do for this great cause!!! Brigitte & Khalu

Brigitte, I have given cash to MAF in the past and there was no problem with it being posted to Meisha's Hope. I love the bandanas but my dogs are not stylish, they would either eat thier own or someone elses. I had a big enough scare last month. While getting ready for work I could hear two of my dogs Sarah and Anubis outside playing then I heard that their growling had changed from the playful yips to dead serious. I found them under a bush with Sarah latched on to Anubis's throat. I smacked her and she wouldn't let go (she's the type that if you raise your voice she will pee all over and try to snuggle up.) It turned out her canine tooth was stuck in one of the loops on Anubis's collar. Thankfully I was home. I limit their toys and other things that might cause grief when we are at work. Penny

Brigitte, Cash will be fine. I will keep my eye on your donation to make sure that it gets credited to the Meisha's Hope Fund at MAF. I am keeping a spread sheet of all donations sent to me for the Meisha's Hope Bandannas and will match this record up with the quarterly reports I get on the Fund from MAF so I am confident there will be no problems with any donations I receive getting into the MH Fund at MAF. Penny, Sorry about the big scare you had with your dogs last month. Thankfully you were there to take care of the problem.

Hi Joanne Just a thought - as I have purchased quite a few items from the states via Paypal - would this be a convenient way to send money for a bandana? Am desperate to get one for Phoebe as we were out the other day (and believe it or not we have purchased a pink doggy buggy so we can get out and about with her!!) and everyone was asking about her condition. I was explaining that she would soon be wearing a bandana which would support the research into her condition and most thought it a wonderful idea - wish we could do more advertising here in the UK for the condition - it does seem to be becoming more and more prevalent!! Another question - is the bandana only available in one colour? would love a pink one - can you tell phoebe is a real girly girl - she even has a pink bow top knot!! bet you all can't wait to see her!! Will try every way to get money to you as soon as practicably possible. Kind Regards Gill & Phoebe
gill uk
Gill, To answer your questions I cannot accept Paypal for the Bandannas and the Bandannas only come in red. I have sent you an email so check your email box when you can.
