Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Tessy PEI Pics

I thought I would add some of the pictures of Tessy from her stay in PEI.

This was from her stay at the Atlantic Veterinary College at UPEI. The pics were taken after her relapse. I bought her a new ball to play with. She loves her balls.

Tessie looks great for what she has been through even showing interest in her ball.

Thanks for sharing

Johnny,
Tessy looks great!! Nice PINK tongue, interest in playing ball ...all things that point to a full recovery.
We pray for Tessy daily,

Tessy is so cute! Glad she is doing better. I wish Darcy's tongue was that pink.

For everything she's been through, she looks fantastic! Happy, cute, and very resilient!

Thanks everyone...she's my little princess. I was told by several doctors to not go by the color of the tongue. Now I go by her membranes below her eyes or the gums or the insides of her ears.
I think Tessy would want to play ball even if she couldn't move. She loves it when I buy her new ones...which is what she got in the pics. I think a large part of the energy was also from the fact that she was probably in her cage in the ICU resting quite a bit. Either way...it is great to see her improving.

I really wish the very best for all of the dogs out there affected by this disease. I guess we all have to be strong for their sakes.
