| Hello everyone, It has been a long time since I have posted to this site. First and foremost my heart goes out to all of you who are fighting this terrible disease and especially to those who have lost their family members this year. In the spirit of hope for the new year I thought I would give a brief update on Tess, who was diagnosed with Evans Syndrome in December 2004. The holidays are always a time of anxiety in the house as that is when she initially presented. We are happy to report that she is doing great! Tess is now almost 7 years old and is starting to show some grey on her chin but we are still amazed at her puppy ways. People always assume she is only a year or so old from the way she acts! As I type this message she is rubbing a tennis ball on my foot, wanting to play - always wanting to play. Although this is a terrible roller coaster ride, there is hope, Tess is proof. For those who are interested in reading she is the November 2007 Success Story. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Claudine, Corey and Tess |
