Steve -- As someone who lost her dog to IMHA, I am so grateful for what you are doing. This is a hard month in our house, because 12 May will be the third anniversary of IMHA coming into our lives and taking our dear beagle Wiley a week later on 19 May. It raises my spirits to think of what you are doing and its implications for our cause. Your effort will be such a big help to the Meisha's Hope campaign to raise money to support research to help us find a cure for this damned disease. Thank you again and best wishes. And thank you for your kindness and generosity -- to Tasha, whom you saved from a shelter and are trying to save again, and to all of the dogs and families who have been touched with this disease. Good luck. May the best man win -- you!!!

Steve, I wish I could personally be at the race on Memorial Day weekend. Any way we'd be able to see a photo of the car after the race? Best wishes to you and your Tasha on this momentous day. Those of us who have personally been touched by this horrible disease are so grateful for people like you and Joanne Dickson and the folks at MAF for raising awareness about this horrible disease. On behalf of myself and my spirit dog Tasha, words of thanks are just not enough to express my appreciation.

Steve, What a beauty Tasha is. Good luck on your race. I hope the logos and pawprints get everyones attention and the word gets spread further about what a devastating experience it is to get a diagnosis of AIHA. If you happen to hear a "bitch bark" during the race that will be my dog Salome. She liked fast cars. Ha! Penny

Trooper was diagnosed December 2007. With a little luck we will head up to Lime Rock on the 31st...maybe Troop can come and If I can, have her picture with your car...and maybe we can help spread the word here in Connecticut.. If you could email me the details...it would mean the world to us to support your event... My family was going to start a little smaller with awareness, but anything helps... Thanks Chris
