| Josh, I am so very sorry to hear that your dear Sway’s PCV has dropped from 28 to 19. Does your vet have any idea what may have caused this drop? I know that you have tried many different things for Sway but I was wondering if you had tried Intravenous Immunoglobulin (IVGG also known as IVIG). IVGG is very difficult to obtain, (usually can only be gotten from a human hospital) and very expensive, however it seems to have worked for some AIHA/IMHA dogs when nothing else has. You can learn a little more about IVGG by reading the March 2007 Success Story about Willy at the Meisha’s Hope Web site: http://www.cloudnet.com/~jdickson/archives18.htm At the end of the story are 4 links to abstracts on IVGG that might be helpful to you. Please be assured you and your dear Sway are in my thoughts and prayers during these most difficult days. |

| Josh, have you been in touch w/Dr. Dodds and can she recommend any homeopathic treatments (they come in bottle form and are administered by dropper) that might give Sway a jump start. When Choe's numbers decreased he was on several homepathic remedies; 'Revitalization', 'Spleen Blood Activator', 'Liver Drain' all rxed by my vet homeopath/ produced by Futureplex. Thinking of you. | I'm so sorry Josh. This illness is truly a nightmarish roller coaster ride for all involved. I hope you can follow up on Joanne's suggestion about the immunoglobin and get some good results for Sway. Have you contacted Dr. Dodds? What does she suggest? Please keep us posted about your darling girl. deb and Duck |

| Dear Josh, OMG, its the thing we all dread during recovery - a decrease like that. Yes, by all means, talk to Dr. Dodds. I dont remember if you did a recent reduction in meds? anything different? We had a number come back for Kent like that, and did another test 2 days later that showed it back up. It could have been a lab fluke for us, i don't know. Hang in there!!!!! Is Sway getting all the supplements - pettinic etc? I am hoping for the best, you are both in our thoughts, Christine and Kent |

| So sorry to hear of this setback Josh. We also used the Human Immunoglobulin with Casper. It is quite expensive. Cost us $250 each dose from Stanford University hospital but if it will help bring up Sway's numbers, it might be a good thing to inquire about. Hang in there both of you. |
