| Hello all, If you participated in the AIHA survey, you should have received the updated results. We have 82 total participants to date. I still have a few caretakers I cannot reach. If you are the caretaker of these loved ones, and sent me your data, please let me know your email address so I can send you the survey results: Cranky, Tess, Bozeman, Brandy, Buddy and Skip. Many of you are new to this post. In March of 2007 Acadia was diagnosed with this horrible disease. Like most of you, I had never heard of it until then. I decided to try and start gathering data from everyone in hopes of finding common traits. We released the first results last quarter and I will be updating them every quarter. I do not post the results on the site. I only send results to the individuals who participate in the survey. Each quarter I will send updated results to everyone who has participated in any quarter survey unless you request that I not send them to you. If you want to participate, please answer the following questions and send to me at jmf31@tx.rr.com. If you participated in the first survey, please contact me if I entered something incorrect, or if you have additional information to share. I did not ask for the veterinarian name the first time but feel this could be VERY helpful to the newly diagnosed. Wishing you all the best, Janet Survey Questionnaire: Caretaker's Name: Email address: Pet's name: Breed: Sex: Spayed /Neutered? Pet's age now: If deceased, please include date of death. | Janet, Thank you so much for all your hard work. It really is very interesting to see all the results. I had even taken the last one down to my vet and showed him all the causes and then entire survey. He was amazed! Thanks again. Linda |
