Hello, all. Quick question for those of you who are a bit further down the road: Do you have some suggested supplements? I give Raven JointMax for her arthritis (she was on this before she was diagnosed, and the specialist said okay to continue), but wondering if I should add something else? By the way, my friend Mark just posted a photo of Raven a few years back. A beauty isn't she? :) http://www.flickr.com/photos/61687148@N00/102282543

What a beautiful shot. I love that everyone is posting pics, it's so nice to put names and furfaces together! I know lots of others do different supplements. We just added Derm Caps for dry skin, it has lots of good stuff in it, and then also dried cranberries to protect the bladder. I'm sure others will have tons of suggestions. melissa and tiggs

Sharon, Raven is a beautiful girl. Her coat is so shiny. You must be very proud of her. Dr. Dodds recommended PetTinic. Our regular vet prescribed this when Darcy was first diagnosed, then said it didn't seem to be helping the situation. The specialist has never suggested supplements. I do give Darcy 1/2 tsp. PetTinic twice every day because it has iron, B vitamins, and other good stuff. If nothing else, I believe it gives her energy and she seems to love the taste. Ask your vet about it, because it may not be right for Raven. I also give Darcy a glucosamine capsule (opened up and put in organic apple sauce) every other day. I try to space the supplements between the meds so there's no intereference.
