| Hello all, For those of you who recall reading about Spencer, he is no longer with us as of yesterday. As I write this with fresh tears running down my face, I hope Spencer is running wild over rainbow bridge feeling perfectly healthy. His blood kept dropping and of course the fungus he encountered somehow wasn't helping. My sympathies for everyone going through this. Shelby, Spencer's sister sits here with me as I type and knows that her brother wasn't well. Good luck to all and hug and kiss your pet every chance you get because all I had was exactly one perfect year with Spencer. 10/16/07 - 12/14/08 Shannon |

| It's a totally rotten deal Shannon. I felt such sadness at reading your post. My Kit (pudelpointer) was 11 months when I had to let her go. I really understand what you are going through. I feel like I barely got to know my dog and the last 10 weeks were stressful, worrisome and all that .... as I'm sure you know. My sympathies to you and your family. Ditto what you said about hug and love your dog (even if they get in trouble!) Take comfort in knowing that you are surrounded by people all around the world on this site who care. I'm so sorry. |
