Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Sofie at the dog show
| Sofie, my German Shepherd puppy went to her first dog show this weekend. The competition was tough, but she was able to hold her own, beating competition and winning her class all four days. Even the stress of showing and being at a motel and shows didn't faze her at all. She ate, drank and did everything normal.You would never know she was diagnosed at 5 1/2 months old on Christmas Eve day with AIHA and was so sick. The photo of her flying across the ring shows they can get strong and beat this horrible disease. MY prayers are with everyone fighting this, but it can be beat and your dogs can get strong and healthy again |
