Sofie has been off all her meds for a week now. She had her first bloodtest in 1 month, all is normal. Her PCV is 50%, which it has been for about 6 weeks RBC, WBC, etc are all in normal ranges. She is doing great, no signs of anything and for a puppy you would never have known how close to dying she was Christmas Eve. Most people still can't beleive one so young to this, why or how, but I think being young has helped her battle this stuff. She also has a new friend, I got a 13 week old Bernese Mountain dog puppy last week, her name is Sera.

Yes, way to go!!! This is such great news to hear! What fun - a Bernese pup to keep Sofie company. I'm so happy to hear this. Gail

Congratulations!! Maybe things are turning around. That's three on the forum who are recently med-free. I have a new addition too! He is a now 8 month old Border Collie puppy. He is a rescue and is amazing! Emma and Newman have the irritating task of raising an obnoxious puppy but they are doing a great job. We're keeping our paws crossed for Sofie! Have fun with your new pup! Louise
