| Has anyone hear of this disease. What are possible treatments. |

| Hi Robin, Siderblastic anemia is a symptom, more than a disease in itself. Have they did any chemistry panel on your furbaby to check the kidneys, etc? Also, a urinalysis? With siderblastic anemia, you have to try to find the cause such as hepatitis(liver), pancreatitis (pancreas), glomerulonephritis (kidneys), myelofibrosis(bone marrow). It is usually the result of a inflammatory condition. Unfortunately, the cause is sometimes never found. Feel free to email me if you need anymore info. birdshag@hotmail.com Teresa |
