Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Samoyed pups anyone?
| I have decided I want another Samoyed. I need to feel that connection again, and put my grief into taking care of a new baby. My life and house are empty! Samoyeds are not very easy to find. So I figured this would be the best place! Anyone can help I’d be grateful! Heath of COURSE is most important, and I’m looking for a female. I so desperately need to be a mommy :( I was looking at baby samies on youtube I just wanted to grab one and kiss it's face! :) |

| Hi Brande, I'm glad to see you are getting another puppy soon....some people think we should "process our grief" for a period of time....but you need to do what works for you.....you've suffered enough with this whole thing......a new baby will bring you joy, and ALL puppies/dogs need good homes with lots of love.....I found my new puppy Chrissy on www.puppyfind.com. They're breeders from all over...you just click on what you're looking for.....Chrissy flew in from California to N.J. There was a layover so the whole thing took 12 hours...but Continental Airlines takes good care of them.....when I looked in her crate on arrival she was as content as could be.......the entire experience was the most pleasant I've ever had....disease-wise I think it's better, because she came right from my breeders home in her crate to my home without any interaction with other puppies. I rescued a puppy 1 1/2 yrs. ago who'd been driven up by car with other puppies from Virginia.....well, the whole litter had PARVO!!! I had Halow ONE day when he seized and crashed....we brought him to the best hospital, and 5 days later at 3:00 in the morning we had to rush there to put him to sleep because he started to suffer badly....$3000.00 later, a broken heart ( my other 2 older dogs had died before this ), and now my home was contaminated and dangerous to my other 2 dogs....NIGHTMARE!!!! Anyway, I hope you find your new puppy soon, and she's HEALTHY as can be....we all need happiness to balance out the heart-ache.......Best wishes...Tammy and Cody |

| Brande, I'm so sorry for your loss. We all know how unbearable that empty house feeling is. If I might suggest a rescue dog of any variety, there are just so many that need homes, and not enough to go around. Too many precious kids just don't make it out of the shelter system. Most groups also desperately need good foster parents if you like that idea. I like Petfinder.com, they pool all the rescues and you can search by breed. I don't know where you live or I could have checked for you. | Hello Brande, I don't know if you would be interested in a rescue dog but if you go online to petfinders you can enter your zip code and breed your looking for and they will match you..Good luck.Kelly |

| I am so sorry that you have been unable to find a puppy, espcially of the Samoyed kind. Please be aware of the scams going on with puppyfind.com Please do not ever send money first. It seems the asking for money is never ending and dealing with puppyfind should be done with a lawyer or a reputable company that can insure you will not lose your money through the scams going on.Can you possibly find a fur baby through the local humane society.Or some reputable breeder. Maybe another breed would catch your heart as well. Although I loved my cockapoo Tasha (she stole my heart and my husbands as well) that we got from a breeder, I can state first hand that they are not all truthful as well; or as I found, not this particular breeder.Someone on this forum might have puppies for sale as well. I know that Joanne got all of her girls through rescue as have a lot of others here on the forum.I am still looking for another puppy. I was devistated when I read of all the people that got scamed on the puppyfind.com. Sorry for the rambling on, on this subject but it really got to me. Dolores PS I hope you find your heart puppy! |

| Just to be 100% clear, Petfinder.com is NOT the same thing as puppyfind. Petfinder is a RESCUE site that aggregates all dogs in shelters, breed rescues, and through reputable rescue groups (pretty much guarantees you will not be buying a puppy mill dog, but rescuing a dog and saving a life) Just wanted that to be very clear. I would absolutely recommend petfinder to help you find any kind of puppy or dog that you are looking for.
