As soon as the website CanineAIHA.com went up, one of my other dogs brought me Rocco's favorite toy, which I had kept seperate from their toys. It's the first time they ever touched it. Amazing.

Glenn, I think it is a wonderful part of our life with dogs that we can see magical things in their actions. People who don't own dogs may want to criticize us for anthropomorphizing their actions. They will never experience the joys that we do when there is a moment of deep connection between us and our pets. I am very sure that your other dog is communicating a feeling of loss and puzzlement to you. patrice

Glenn I visited your website and saw the pictures of Rocco and his friend and they are both handsome guys!! I think your other dog picking up the toy just shows you that Rocco is really there in spirit and he probably wants you to know that is he alright now and happily playing with his toys on the other side of the bridge.
