Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Ren update

Hurrrrrrrrray! Ren finally had a monthly Vet visit with almost normal blood screen results. It has been almost two years since her PCV has reached and stayed at in the 40's. Today's PCV is 43! WBC is almost within normal ranges up from a very low 2.6.
The Doctor was very pleased with Ren's progress. The Vet wants to cut back on Imuran to once a week. That's down from twice weekly. Ren still takes 2.5 mg. pred once daily. She probably always will have to take pred in some small dosage to maintain remission. Ren also takes 25mg. Cyclosporine every other day. That will be the next thing to be reduced, perhaps in a month.
Thank you all for your prayers. I sometimes look at Ren and cry with joy and amazement at how far we have come. I am thankful for each and every day I have with her.
