Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - 'Princess' Daisy update

Just wanted to give everyone an update on my little princess. Today was not a good day, she was listless and appeared off but was eating and drinking. So off to the vet. Her pcv was down to 17 from 27 on Saturday. But her other count was 7.5 My local vet reviewed her previous reports from the Univ of Penn and felt that her meds such be higher and that we were going to reach out to Dr. Dodds. I contacted Dr. Dodd who was surprised that the Univ of Penn did not put her on Pet-Tinic and thyroid meds and also feels that her other meds are too low of a dosage. She will be in contact tomorrow with my vet to change some of her meds and add others. I just loved Dr. Dodds. I will keep everyone abreast of latest details. A special thank you to Patrice for suggesting that I get Dr. Dodds involved.
PS My vets welcome working with Dr. Dodds.

Evelyn,
Hopefully with the input from Dr. Dodds you can get your little Princess heading in the right direction.
She is indeed a wonderful person.

Dear Evelyn,

I hope Princess Daisy is doing better. That was a serious drop in counts. Take care and keep us posted.
Just curious - how do you contact Dr. Dodds?
Thanks, Gail
