Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Prednisolone Vs Pridnisone

Hello,
Timmy contunues to do ok....His last pcv was 30
3 days ago and just got checked again today so i
won't get the results until later theis evening. So far so good!!!!He is getting a CBC tomarrow and a tyroid panel....He is also getting checked for a possible liver bacteria that has been known to trigger
this disease at times after one of the vets posted Timmy's case where other professions in the field could chime in.I hope it will be positive news..I have a prednisolone Question.timmy was on Prednisolone
from the start and just had this perscription refilled and it is prednisone....i did a little research and found out that prednisolone is what the liver turns prednisone
into.....So is it better not to depend on the liver to
efficiently convert prednisone to prednisolone...or just to always by default use prednisolone being this conversion has to take place or it won't do you any good..I know timmy has an enlarged liver and spleen and just wonder
in AIHA which the enlargement is common if the liver
can convert this properly...

don't worry about this, pretty much the same thing, might matter more to cats.
