She looks so cute sitting up like that. My other dog Charlie does that all the time when he wants something. All I have to do is tell him to sit pretty and he does. Give her hugs from Tessy and I. She'll be in our thoughts and prayers. Johnny & Tessy

Thank you guys for your kind comments about Darcy. I think she's adorable, too, but she's my baby and I'd love her no matter how she looks. Please keep praying for her, and I will continue to pray for everyone on this forum and their beloved pets. Johnny, I don't even have to tell Darcy to sit up and beg. She does it on her on and when she was a healthy girl she did it quite frequently. She can hold that seated pose for a long time. Karen

Thanks everyone for all the kind comments about my baby girl. Brenda, I knew you'd like her since you're so partial to beagles. They certainly have a way of getting inside your heart. When I was a little girl, people used to drop off unwanted dogs along the road by our farm all the time. At one point my parents told me not to befriend another dog that came up our driveway. Well, this sweet little beagle came along one day, crying and wagging her tail so hard that I just couldn't stand it. I had to pet her. The whole family fell in love with her and I named her Miss Oliver Twist because she twisted all over when she wagged her tail. We called her Oliver for short. She was a wonderful dog.
