Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Pepsid Question?
| The vet told me to add Pepsid, but I forgot to ask the dosage. They are the typical 10mg little round tablet. Tori only weighs 9.5 lbs. Sure would appreciate some advice with this,,,being it's Sunday and the vet is not in now. Thanks! Blessings, Cindi & Tori (Evans Syndrome) |

| Hmm, I would say try half of a 10mg if you can break it. Make sure this is regular pepsid, not the extra. If it should be more you will not have hurt anything. It can't be less. One hour before a meal. p |

| Lyndi takes 1/2 10 mg Pepcid twice a day & she weighed 18.5 when she was diagnosed. |

| Bentley weighs 11 pounds....he takes 1/4 of a 10mg Pepcid tablet 2x day....that would about match Lyndi's dosage....I use a pill splitter to quarter them. Hope Tori is feeling well today!! Sally and Mr. B |
