Not knowing you i feel you have gone through the expereience of loss or been close to loss yoursef. | Claire, Thank you for your kind words. I too lost my beloved Lab, Salome to this awful disease back in June of 2006. I was helped so much by the people on this board both during the fight and afterwards. I know what comfort it brought me to be able to come here and know that people were there to lean on. It became a natural thing to stick around and cheer on the ones still fighting and mourn with the ones who lose the battle. There are a number of people here that do the same thing. Even though we will not ever meet in person I feel like we are a family of sort. None of this would be possible without the hard work of Joanne though, her dedication is a lasting tribute to her dear Meisha. Take care Penny |
