From the posts read and posts received you make my heart melt and im sure you do others too.

Not knowing you i feel you have gone through the expereience of loss or been close to loss yoursef.

Let me tell you, you are an insperation to this site and not only from myself but im sure others too.

Thank you for your kind words. I too lost my beloved Lab, Salome to this awful disease back in June of 2006.
I was helped so much by the people on this board both during the fight and afterwards. I know what comfort it brought me to be able to come here and know that people were there to lean on. It became a natural thing to stick around and cheer on the ones still fighting and mourn with the ones who lose the battle. There are a number of people here that do the same thing. Even though we will not ever meet in person I feel like we are a family of sort. None of this would be possible without the hard work of Joanne though, her dedication is a lasting tribute to her dear Meisha.
