I have also noticed over the past 4 days Trixie panting a lot, like this evening she is panting, she isn't like it all through the day just at times. I suppose this must being caused also by the medication she is on? Sorry to go on and on here. Thank God I found this site !

Tricia, Sorry to hear about Trixie. Most of the symptoms you've posted about are all effects from the drugs. If you haven't looked at Joanne's site yet please do http://www.cloudnet.com/~jdickson/ Be sure and read the success stories. This is a long hard battle but it can be won. Penny

Has your heating come on in the evening!!!! Jasper does pant more in the evenings.....we have turned the heating off in the bedroom....as he does sleep on the bed,.......whilst it might be colder for us, it suits the dog better!!!! you can tell who wears the trousers in our house!!!! HAHAHAH He also likes sleeping on cold floors rather than the carpet at the moment!

Hi Jackie. No we haven't yet put the heating on. Funny you should mention about cold floors, Trixie tends to go into the conservatory evening, brrrr and it's real cold out there. She used to come up to my bed from time to time during the night, but hasn't done that since she has been unwell, however, having said that, she does come up once during the night, around about 4 am'ish and gives a gives a little yelp, asking to be let outside to have a wee. Today she doesn't seem to be panting that much, well, not since I got home from work and that was at 2 pm, her breathing is still a little fast though. Thanks for your reply btw Jackie.
