Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Ok, where are you guys finding the canned pumpkin?

I have tried several stores and can't find it anywhere. I am in CT if that helps. Thanks!

In Canada it is available in every grocery store, in the baking section. There is pie filling, you don't want that. You want just plain pumpkin. It comes in Organic and just regular, in 14 and 28 oz cans.
Have you tried health food stores?
Maybe I should start a business shipping them? I could pay off my vet bills this way!:)
Best wishes and good luck,

Lisa, try squash IF you can't find pumpkin anywhere. Just boil it till it's done and then boil a bit more. (or look for canned PURE squash) Pumpkin IS a type of squash (at least that's what I always thought) but just a bit more rich in fiber. I've used several varieties of squash with TEssy and have even cooked it in with her foods quite often. Butternut is one of my personal favs (& Tessy's).

Hi Lisa,

I order a product called Olewo Carrots. This product is amazing. It is pelleted carrot pulp. The 1 kg box lasts months. And it is not wasteful like canned pumpkin...you can make as much or as little as you want. The product was recommended to me by a natural vet, a few years ago, when one of our dogs was having anal gland problems and loose stools. The dogs love it. I re-hydrate a little of it and mix it into their food at each meal.

Good Luck!
