| Hi Just looking through the Morris Foundation website and came across this study which I think is, or is almost complete. Clinical Evaluation of Liposomal Clodronate as a Novel Treatment for Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia in Dogs It seems through the small amount of detail I can find that this treatment is to be of some advantage to AIHA dogs - and, especially after reading Kathleen and Nollaig's thread regarding nandolone being the last resort, I wondered if anyone (ususally this means Patrice!!!) has heard about this treatment or results of study? I know Joanne mentioned a study in thromboembolism (which is what Phoebe is recovering from) is about to commence and I, for one, are so glad that there are scientists out there working on possible cures/medication for AIHA sufferers, both human and canine!! anything to help our furbabies would be most welcome!! Kind regards Gill & Phoebe |

| Gill, The Meisha's Hope Fund sponosored a study on Liposomal Clodronate a couple of years ago and the results seem to be quite promising. The study you mentioned is as a result of the success with the previous study. |
