my dog went from being a happy hyper girl, to a sad lethargic lady in a heartbeat. We were told if we didn't give her a blood transfusion, she would not make it. We opted to take her home with meds and love and so far she is still with us. She goes from looking great to looking terrible again. |

| Delena, I am so sorry that you have had to join us. What is your girl's name? What was her PCV? You have come to the right place for information and support. A lot of our dogs have had to have transfusions it buys them time until the drugs kick in. Keep us posted. Penny |

| Delena So sorry to hear about your Border Collie. We have a Border Collie X, Trixie came down with AIHA last October, but she is improving, she did need a transfusion and it did help. Her PCV went from 12 before transfusion to 26 and a week or so ago, she went up to 34. The medication does help even though it's a slow process. Please keep up posted. Thinking of you. Tricia |
