Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Molly Update - 3/20

Just a quick update on Molly. PCV count went from 20 to 21 yesterday. However, my vet said that it will be 2 more weeks before we know if the medicines will turn her around. Her attitude is much improved and she is still eating everything without problems. Hopefully, we will turn a corner and the PCV will go up a bit more than just 1 at a time. Thanks again for everyone's comments and prayers.

Eating is good! How can she improve when she is not eating, so that is great. One day at a time, we will be thinking of you and Molly,

Linda, you must be doing something right! It's really good to hear that the numbers are rising. One point is better than no points! I bet you will see an increase before two weeks is up. Just keep up with the bed rest and the meds and things should begin to improve for you and Molly. The improved attitute must have your spirits higher now.
My thoughts and prayers are with you both.

GREAT news Linda! It took at least two weeks b4 my Mollly's #s went up past the 20s....I think it was closer to 3 weeks but as someone on here pointed out...if her clinical signs are good....#s are sometimes just #s. Best of luck.

Great that its going up and she is eating... Madisons only started to increase after 2 weeks and she is now over 40. Once the meds kick in you will get a bigger increase for sure...
