Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - meltdown update

Thanks so much for ALL the support in my crisis.......but then I have realized that you are all my new best friends and family. We all agree we would rather never have met here, but somehow it has made us all better people and all our furbabies are so proud. I see tails wagging as they frolic and wait together on the Rainbow Bridge, also as a new family, knowing the new bonds as we do. In turn, they each point to their moms and dads with pride as they see us giving love and hugs to those with such deep and hurting souls.
They wince when we cry and wonder why, because they know of the beauty promised to come when we join them.

I have two new part time jobs and working more hours than I planned, but realize they will fill my empty days and keep me focused on helping others in my nursing profession. I am still seeking relief for my back issues, but am hopeful to resolve that too as time goes on. The past weekend meltdown was a serious release of emotion, partly prednisone induced, which makes realize what our furbabies go through due to such horrific med effects. In the end, we know that is the only way right now, and we can pray and fight for better medical treatment, prevention and/ or cure in the future.

God Bless to all still fighting, those celebrating success and those who have furbabies proudly watching us.

Prayers, hugs and love
