has anyone noticed an increases restlessness and anxiety a few hours after Immuran dose given? Brandy is still on high doses of prednisone, Immuran and Doxycycline. I expected restless with pred, but it seems it is much worse after getting the Immuran dose in the evening. thanks again to those of you who answered and prayers and hugs to all those here with this frustrating disease. Brandy gets repeat labs 8/7 this week, so hoping for good news to start decreasing med doses.

Hi Pam, I'm not sure about the restlessness, but our vet advised us to give the Imuran in the am...I'm not sure why, but that's what we do. Tiggs doesn't seem restless at all, and he doesn't take the Doxycycline like your Brandy does. Good luck, hopefully someone will have some ideas. Melissa

since my initial post regarding this, my vet has shared that night seems worse for our "friends" and the prednisone takes it's worst toll on muscle pain, etc. It seems that about 4 hrs after meds is the most difficlt time. Don't you just want to take the meds for your "friends" so they don't have to deal with all this stuff and don't have a clue why. best to all sharon and brandy
