It was a year ago today that our beloved Maggie lost her battle with AIHA. Maggie lost her fight, but we have to continue to fight this war on AIHA. Thank you to those of you that have given us support over the year. I value your friendship and support. It has been a very tough year, and we still grieve. Warm Autumn sun, shine brightly here, Warm Autumn wind, blow softly here, Green sod around, lie light, lie light Sleep tight sweetheart Sleep tight, sleep tight.

Karon, I do remember your Maggie and I hope some of the pain has lessened. It never really goes away just stays as a dull ache. Anyone who has had this awful disease enter their life does stay in the fight forever. Penny

I know how you feel. It hasn't even been a month since Oliver passed and I still miss him terribly. I will never forget him. Take care.

So sorry Karon, I can't imagine how much you must miss Maggie, you were both and are, very brave. I love that poem, it's simply beautiful. melissa and tiggs

Sorry Karon on our loss I found this poem in a newsletter which I posted for Robin. You might like it too. We have a secret you and I, That no one else shall know. For who but I can see you lie, Each night, in fireglow. And who but I can reach my hand, Before we go to bed, And feel the living warmth of you. And touch your silken head And only I walk woodland paths, And see you ahead of me, Your form racing in the wind, So young again, and free. And only I can see you swim, In every brook I pass, And when I call, no one but I Can see the bending grass.... I hope time helps ease your pain. regards. Julie.
